Who We Are

We are a congregation of Born Again, Bible Believing, Followers of Jesus, interesting in growing in our faith and sharing, the forgiveness Jesus provides, to all who believe. 

Mount Ephraim Baptist Church is a place where the truth of God’s word is proclaimed. The atmosphere is traditional and comfortable. So, come as you are and worship God with us. 

History of the Church

The first worship service of Mount Ephraim Baptist Church was conducted by circuit rider preacher Alderman Wilson and led to a meeting on Saturday, August 9th 1884 for the purpose of organizing a church. There were 19 charter members of the church.
